Ciao Bella
This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in New York city. They have great food, great service, and good prices. My favorite dish on the appetizer menu is bruschetta. For those of you who don't know, bruschetta is toasted bread with olive oil on it, and tomato and garlic on top (I'll elaborate more later because I have decided to give you guys my recipe.) Ciao Bella will give you the best bruschetta in New York City! They give you a piece of light toasted bread, that is piled so high with tomato and garlic and basil and mozzarella that you can't see the bread! It's a little big for an appetizer so I would suggest splitting. For the entree, they have usual Italian things; pasta, salads etc. I recommend the grilled chicken salad, which is basically your basic salad, with perfectly grilled chicken on top. For dessert, they have wonderful things! Gelato, chocolate volcano etc. The chocolate volcano is great! teaming hot, melted chocolate in the middle of a small cake! Yum! Ciao Bella is located at 87th street on Lexington Avenue.
